KEEPING ON, KEEPING ON!
We kept-on keeping on. We'd been walking for miles.
It was promising to see a bridge up ahead.
Rocks were the path to get to the bridge where a man was in the water.
Gene observing the man in the water.
The man had a crab tied onto a string to lure fish into his net.
Wish I knew the name of the river that flows to the sea.
"A river runs through it."
Apparently there are a lot of rivers in Martinique
due to its mountainous terrain and volcanoes.
Finally civilization!
Our Scout Master, Greg s/v Indigo, was the one who got us into this 3 hr (so far) hike.
"Let's just take a little walk and see the east side of the island."
The sign he's standing by means there is ice cream inside.
Greg also knew there was ice cold beer.
We took a well deserved break!
